Greenhouse Gas Rating
If you are looking for a car that will reduce your carbon footprint, or save you money at the gas pump, use this tool to search and compare vehicles by Greenhouse Gas Rating.
In California all new vehicles are required to display a Greenhouse Gas Rating as part of the Fuel Economy and Environment Label. The Greenhouse Gas Rating ranks each vehicle’s greenhouse gas emissions relative to all other vehicles within that model year. Greenhouse Gas Ratings are on a scale of 1 – 10, with 10 being the cleanest, and 5 being the average. Cars with a Greenhouse Gas Rating of 7 or higher are the cleanest.
Think clean and buy vehicles with higher ratings.
